Diana Perkins graduated in 2020 from Brown University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in an independent concentration in Industrial Design. Her interest in product design for disabled populations arose through working with the American Printing House for the Blind, the nation’s largest producer of Braille books and educational aids for the blind and visually impaired over the past 5 years. Since graduating, she started includesign, a Rhode Island based product design firm with the goal of creating products that empower individuals with disabilities around the world, and they just launched their first product, the LapSnap
